Ebooks Library or Ebook Shop?

When we were young, before the internet age, we used to go to the library to borrow books. The library has a large collection of books for us to borrow.

When using the library, sometimes we have got no idea, what is the title of the book to borrow. So we look for the books on a very general topic.

For Example, I want to borrow some books about dogs, but how do I know what title of the book to borrow? So I go to the library, look out for the dog section. Now there will be a lot of books about dogs for me to choose from. So I look around and choose the books that I want. I flip them over to take a sneak preview and borrow those that I want back home.

Sometimes, our friends borrowed a book and we liked it a lot too after reading it and would like to borrow it as well. So what shall we do? Get the title of the book go in to the library. Zoom into the place where the book is kept and borrow it!

Simple! That's pre-internet age.

Now with the prevalence of internet, there's another new birth of books for use to use and that's computer books or ebooks. Ebooks are information that is contained in a computer file like a pdf or document and you read it off the computer screen. And they contain all sorts of useful information. They range from teaching you how to train your dog to how to make money on the internet. Some are free and some requires you to pay for it.

As they require you to pay, so where to get the best ebooks? Just like the dog example given above, there will be many books of the same topic, but which is the best? Do you have a preview first before you buy?

No! Is there a consolidated ebook library or bookshop where you can browse through the title or anywhere that reviews properly the book that you want to buy? No! Before parting with your hard earn money, it's better to find some reviews on the book first.

So we need to find out more about the ebooks and how it performs when compared to the other ebooks. If you search the internet, most webmasters give a biased view of which ebook they like and it is usually the ebook that they sell on their website after the review. What we need is a review of "A FEW" ebooks which are simiar in nature.

The good sites should have a large collection of ebooks that you can browse and buy and it also contains reviews and they should be independent reviews not from the webmaster or host but from fellow folks who just bought the ebooks. This review can come in the form of a forum where many people participates in it and tells you which are the good ebooks to buy and which is not.
